Why teams look for a Exa alternative
The usual reason is the bill. Exa is priced as a premium product and the headline search rate is only the start of it: results past the tenth, page contents and AI summaries are each charged on top, so the realistic cost of a retrieval-augmented call is some way above the number on the pricing page.
